New Year, New Focus (sort of)

Happy New Year :)

Many a thing have sorted themselves out in my life, so I've been busy, busy, busy.  Big changes, welcome changes, lots of changes.

First off, I am moving home to MA in April. While MA isn't the place I thought I'd hang my hat, it is the best place for me at the moment. I have a lot of support, many friends, and know it so well. Certain things here in NYC cause me anxiety because I just don't know the area well. It's also stressful to think about things like daycare, preschool, school, activities etc. for a little tyke when you're 1) flat-out broke after rent every month and 2) don't know where to go or are on impossible wait lists. In MA, at home, these things are easily determined and/or easier accessed.

Second, I want to get right. I want to get healthy again. I want shiny, long hair and shiny, rosy cheeks. I want to garden.  I want to go for long walks in the woods, not parks. Oh, and not so eco-friendly, I want a car. Bad. My grandmother's husband's son (I sound like a hilly billy, but they live in Orange County) converted his car to veggie oil. I am going to get the skinny on that from him. I looked into a bit.  Googling came up with a cost around 3k.  However, I don't chow down on Chinese, but the car is going to want to guzzle moo goo gai pan grease. I'll need to find a supplier, or rather, many options.  Plus, diesel these days is mucho expensive (that's what most converters use if oil isn't available). Anyone have any ideas?????

Back to getting healthy, I am trying out this new tea- Kusmi Detox Tea. I read about it. Sounds flavorful and tasty: mate, green tea and lemongrass. I'm really, really trying to switch to tea rather than coffee. Decaf tea at that. I feel so dehydrated and puffy all the time. Perhaps this will help. If nothing else, it will expand my taste buds :)

I am not going to be so fastidious about only "green" talk in this blog. I have a lot to say. So, I'm just gonna sa-er- type it!

xoxo
